British Army No. 2 Dress Jacket All Ranks

Khaki brown wool jacket with no buttons or rank badges. It has four front pockets. The chest pockets have scalloped flaps and have centre pleats, the flaps fasten with metal press studs and a button (missing). The lower pockets are very large and have deep flaps. Lined in brown acetate, manufacturers label in the inside lining right pocket.

Green Howards Officers Mess Kit - Waistcoat

Forest green wool facecloth vest or waistcoat with green cotton sateen back and gold metal thread work looped lacing and Austrian knot work. It has a deep curved neckline which is edged in gold coloured pointed glass beads. It closes centre front with 5 pairs of black japanned metal hooks and eyes which alternate. Lined in cream cotton and with a green cotton sateen back strap with black japanned two prong metal buckle with 'BRITISH' engraved into it. There is a name stamped in black ink on the lining 'J. S. Philips' and handwritten in green pencil 'R S M GRAHAM'.

British Army Tier 3 Pelvic-Protection Trousers

Pair of short trousers made of MTP (Multi Terrain Pattern) camouflage fabric. They have a wide draw cord waistband with four long belt loops and a green webbing tape. Across the front and back crotch is a khaki green elasticated insert. The inner crotch between the legs is made of beige mesh. Over the inner thigh area at back and front are pockets sewn onto the trousers with three khaki webbing tabs (designed for armour plates to be inserted). There are two large oval shaped khaki green patches at the knees and the trouser legs go to just below the knee. They have an elasticated band around the bottom hem and there are long zips down each outer leg. There are flapped pockets (for armour inserts) down each outer leg which layer across the zips and fasten down the back of each leg with three triangular tabs with press studs. These trousers are designed to be worn with seven armour plates (not included).

British Army Tier 2 Pelvic-Protection Armour

Outerwear garment to cover the groin and pelvic area made of MTP (Multi Terrain Pattern) camouflage fabric. It has two triangular shaped pieces to cover the front and back which are connected by a rectangular piece to go through the legs. It has plastic clips and adjustable length olive green webbing straps which attach together at the sides. At both front and back are large velcro pads with webbing straps and loops. Label on the inside of the centre back. There is a separate green mesh bag for transport and storage.

British Army NBC Suit Mk II Smock

Pullover smock with hood made of sections of olive drab and grey fabric. It has a green draw cord pull around the hood with black plastic stop. There are green velcro fasteners with pull tabs at the cuffs and on each side of the bottom hem. The front, upper arms and hood are made of the grey colour. The hood trim, shoulders, under arms, back and sides are made of olive drab. Label in the back of the hood.

Smock, Denison Airborne Troops

Heavy cotton drill over-smock printed with a brush stroke camouflage pattern in shades of khaki, brown and green. The collar is square cut, lined with khaki wool and has a Lightening zip fastening which opens to the chest. The shoulders have button fastened epaulettes and each cuff is adjustable with a button fastening. The smock has four large angled patch pockets on the front; two at the chest and two at the waist. These are closed by pointed flaps that are secured by metal Newey press-studs. At the base of the smock is a long 'tailpiece' flap attached by press-studs that fasten between the wearers legs to ensure that the smock doesn't rise up before or during a parachute jump. Under each arm are six ventilation holes. The smock is camouflage printed with a dark green and brown brush stroke pattern on a khaki background.

British Army Cold Weather Hood

Knitted wool ribbing hood or balaclava in olive drab green. It is made of a wide rib and shaped over the head with two short seams. There is a round cut out at the front for the face which is edged in a 6cm wide rib. Label in the left side seam.
